We are finally having some sunny Springtime weather and a beautiful Easter weekend. It has been nice working outside in my garden for the last few weeks and now I am ready to get back into quilting. So many projects and ideas are going through my head.
After much consideration, I finally decided on what project to finish for the UFO challenge for next month. I hope you are all working or have already finished yours. I cannot wait till the may meeting to see all your work.
If you are still undecided or need help with the last steps to finishing your quilts, Judy Holley will give us a boost this month with a presentation on basting your quilt. Bring any projects that need help with the basting step. Also, if you have any tips or methods that work for you, please share your ideas with the group.
Suzi, Margie and Connie (or as I like to call them "The Challenge Ladies") will have another short demo for us. Margie's presentation last month was very useful. I hope she inspired you to tame your scrap stash.
Finally, The Gail Garber classes are fast approaching in April. Thank you for your participation. Your class work will make some fantastic projects and great Show & Tell.
