  • Auctionyour name here? -- gathers donations, organizes basket prep, set-ups
  • Birthday TableNoreen Mazaroppi and Debbie Ingram -- manages sale of tickets and drawings for donated gifts, as well as organizes Q Bay-RCQG's version of eBay for fund raising; handle drawings for special event fund-raising projects
  • Charity Quiltsyour name here? -- monitors, distributes, and sets up workshops for quilts for Parker House, Quilts of Valor, the Giving Quilt, and other charities
  • Christmas LottoCharlene Harp -- forms committee to select patterns & fabric, prep kits for July meeting, sales, organizes sewing session to make tops, drawing at Christmas Party. Melanie West and the Wednesday group have worked closely with this committee for several years, plus picking theme-block for President's block
  • Christmas Party -- your name here?- coordinates food, gift exchange, decorations, table set-ups, etc
  • Education and ProgramsBeth Jessup and Debbie Hulett -- coordinates presentations by contracted teachers, suggests and organizes educational technique demonstrations for monthly meetings; hands-on during meetings or on sew days
  • Excursions - Road Tripsyour name here? -- coordinates weekend or day trips to out-of-town quilt locations, includes transportation, lodging, schedules
  • Fabric/Block SwapMargie Bumm and Mary Woltmann -- coordinate swaps i.e., 2-1/2 in strips, 5-1/2 in squares, 9 patches, 4 patches, half square triangles, Honey Buns, swaps, 1 or 2 per year
  • GSQA LiaisonMary Woltmann -- attends GSQA quarterly meetings, reports content to guild
  • Guild ChallengesJoni DeVilbiss -- annual challenge(s) - picks theme, fabrics, makes presentation
  • Guild RetreatsCynthia McGee -- coordinates dates and locations for weekend sewing retreats; firm dates in February and September
  • Hospitality/SocialLilly Willis and Tommie Morden --responsible for ice breakers, greeting new members
  • Lotto BlockCharlene Harp and Elena Acosta -- March and August, picks fabric and pattern, prepares kits for sale, drawing
  • Meeting Logisticsyour name here? -- coordinates helpers to set up room, presentations, and clean up at meeting's end
  • Mystery QuiltGlenda Parks -- obtains and disseminates instructions to participants in the mystery
  • Newsletter, Name Tag Drawing, Fat Quarter LottoSuzi Montague -- produce monthly newsletter; maintain list for name tag drawing and supply quilt store gift certificate or $10; coordinate fat quarter selection for each meeting and publish in newsletter
  • Pet Quilts —Lilly Willis -- coordinates sewing dates and locations for YELP pet quilt sewing
  • Public RelationsJoni DeVilbiss -- manages RCQG, photographs events, maintains current data, pictures, go-to information about guild, distributes press release to local media; contacts by e-mail follow-up to invite visitors to future meetings, prints membership cards
  • UFO ChallengeSuzanne Elliot -- keeps a log of commitments to complete unfinished projects
  • Ultimate Guild Challenge (AQS Show entries)— Barbara Hoffman -- chairperson organizes group to discuss theme, parameters, deadlines, coordinates show entries
